Paige & Peter - Ancaster Mill Wedding

Paige & Peter - Ancaster Mill Wedding

It was a cold month for an elegant wedding like Paige and Peter’s, but even the snow (and rain) seemed to give us a break for a day, just to give these two the brightest weather on the best day of their lives. The light illuminated the wedding’s white, gray, and dark accents, which blended well with the beautiful chapel at Ancaster Mill. It reflected the joyful energy around the room from the ceremony to the reception.

With the exception of a few tearjerking moments, it was a day full of laughs, dancing and drinking enjoyed with friends and family — exactly like the Paige had imagined. The happiest of all smiles though, were the couple’s as Peter had her laughing easily at every opportune moment.

Thank you to my awesome second shooter - Mohsan from Token weddings, for taking the trip to Ancaster and capturing this beautiful day with me.
Congratulations again to the two of you, wishing you both a lifetime of love and happiness (and of course, lots of laughter).

Steph & Justin - Distillery District Toronto Wedding

Steph and Justins wedding took place at the distillery district, in the heart of Toronto. We were worried about it raining but mother nature blessed us with gorgeous lighting and the sun came out just in time for their ceremony.

Their first look took place just outside where they got ready, at the beautiful One King West Hotel. We immediately went over to the Distillery District for our photo session. A lot of my weddings take place in private venues that usually have some sort of greenery around but this was a wonderful change for me. I'm a city girl at heart, so to be able to capture this incredible day and incorporate the big city was a dream.

Steph and Justin gave us plenty of time for photos prior to the ceremony which allowed us to explore what the district had to offer... and I must say, some of my favorite images I have ever taken were with these two. Archeo Trattoria was an amazing venue. Beautiful grounds for city photos and both the ceremony and reception space were stunning. Not to mention the food was delicious!

I'd also like to add a fun fact: Steph & Justin know the band of the song that they used for their first dance "And then some (acoustic) - Arkells" which they kindly allowed us to use for their highlight video.

A huge thank you to my amazing second shooter Ally Allison, the day would have not been the same without you! Congratulations again Steph and Justin! It was an absolute pleasure to photograph your incredible day!

Stephanie & Ian - Vineland Estates Wedding

This wedding definitely has to be added to my favorites list! I’ve known Stephanie since middle school when I first moved to Ontario, when she had asked me to photograph her wedding I was incredibly excited to share her special day through my lens.

Their wedding took place at Vineland Estates Winery on a beautiful day at the end of August. The temperature was perfect and there wasn’t a cloud in the sky! The sunset was breathtaking and really added to the photographs too. You can really see the love Stephanie & Ian have for each other when they lock eyes - it’s evident in the photographs, they compliment each other so perfectly.

The decor was incredible, I loved everything about this wedding. My favorite color pallet - blush and white with touches of beautiful greenery and the location was to die for. Everyone in the wedding party was such a blast and they all looked amazing and complimented the day so well. Stephanie was absolutely stunning, I normally don’t cry at weddings but I definitely shed a few tears behind the lens when I saw my beautiful childhood friend ready to say “I do”.

It was very tough to pick my favorites but here they are! If you haven’t already seen their wedding highlight film as well, take a look at the bottom of this page! Thank you to my second shooter, also known as my work wife and my partner in crime - Denise Belanger for capturing this stunning day with me!

Congratulations again Stephanie & Ian, thank you both for involving me in such an important milestone. I wish you both lots of love and happiness for all the years to come!
