Gabrielle & Brandon - Exeter Wedding

One of my favourite things about travel weddings is the scenery. Living in Mississauga, I get the little enjoyment of concrete and large buildings.. but the drive to Exeter for Gabrielle and Brandon’s wedding was a sight for sore eyes!

They had the most beautiful August wedding, with sunny skies and just the right amount of breeze for their rustic country wedding. The wedding took place at Exeter’s Golf Club, and it was such a stunning venue- absolutely perfect for this couple. The décor was the perfect combination of classic and modern but it was the attire that I loved the most! From the coral bridesmaid dresses with cowboy boots, to the gentlemen in their dark blue suits with touches of burlap tied in- it was timeless. Can I also mention that I’ve never met someone who could pull off literally any hair colour like Gabrielle can – this woman is seriously stunning!

I had such a blast shooting this wedding. The couple, the wedding party, the family and the guests made this day so enjoyable from start to finish. They even pulled us on the dance floor at the end of the night! However, my favourite part of the entire day had to be when Gaby surprised Brandon and sang for him at the end of the speeches, everyone (including me!) was in tears.

A big thank you to Cornelia Klimek for being an awesome second shooter and capturing some beautiful moments with me! And an even bigger thank you to Gabrielle and Brandon for having us be a part of your incredible day. Wishing you both nothing but love and happiness!

Kristine & Jordan - Whistle Bear Wedding

Kristine and Jordan are my horse shoe couple! These two are definitely the luckiest that I’ve shot this season when it comes to the weather working with them. The forecast called for thunderstorms the entire day, including tornado watches all over Southern Ontario. Somehow, Mother Nature worked us in to her plans, the rain held off for our first look and we were able to utilize all our time outdoors at the beautiful Mill Race Park in downtown Galt. Of course, the minute we finished and got in our cars to head to Whistle Bear, the down pour started! Thankfully the ceremony was covered so the rain didn’t damper their day.

When my second shooter, Lisa and I began to look for an alternative location for family photos after the ceremony, the rain stopped and the sun had once again come out! It could not have worked out more perfectly for these two, and I’m so glad it did! I loved photographing every minute of this wedding and the two of them are beyond sweet. A perfectly timed day for a perfect pair!

The wedding party was a blast to work with and despite the weather, the entire day was filled with laughs. I wish this wonderful couple a life full of love (and more luck!). It’s couples like you that make my job so enjoyable and easy!

Thank you to my second shooter Lisa Kwan for capturing gorgeous images of these two with me and for also snapping some awesome behind the scenes footage used in my promotional video!

Karina & Mina - The Museum Kitchener Wedding

Mina and Karina are that couple that you just can’t help but be in awe over. They have the most genuine love I’ve ever seen and it was truly incredible to witness these two promise forever.

Their beautiful July wedding took place at Our Lady of Lourdes Church for the ceremony and their reception was held at the Kitchener Museum. This venue is beyond stunning with so many beautiful backdrops to take advantage of. The Museum hosts gorgeous over sized windows that make for the most stunning natural lighting! Their families are so welcoming and really do make you feel as though you are one of their own. The wedding party was a riot and such a treat to be around!

This lovely couple has now moved and will be continuing their love story in Reno! It’s clear that to them, home isn’t 4 walls .., it’s wherever they are together. Congratulations again you two and thank you for allowing me to be a part of your story! I wish you a lifetime full of love and happiness.

Dorothy & Scott - Whistle Bear Wedding

Dorothy and Scott married on a beautiful sunny day in July. Their Ceremony was held at Sacred Heart Church and the reception took place at the gorgeous Whistle Bear golf course. After their ceremony we had a quick stop at the Sunlife building in Waterloo which made for some beautiful photo's that looked like they were taken at a historical building in Europe. We took advantage of all the beautiful landscapes that were provided to us at Whistle Bear. During desert we were able to sneak away before sunset for another quick photo session. We had so much fun roaming around the hills at the golf course and with the sky changing colours it definitely made for gorgeous photos.

Thank you both and your amazing wedding party for making our day so enjoyable, everyone was so wonderful to be around and made the day that much more fun!

Thank you to my second shooter Hannah Yoon for covering this beautiful day with me!

Dilara & Jared - New Dundee Golf Club Wedding

This beautiful couple, Dilara and Jared met at the University of Waterloo and have been inseparable since. I got the pleasure of doing their engagement session as well, which took place last winter. Whether it was the cold weather they endured for their engagement session or perfect blue skies like we had for their wedding- these two are always so happy, so sweet and so full of love. You can see what they share when they look at each other.

Their wedding took place on a beautiful sunny day in June at the New Dundee Golf Club. The club’s ceremony location is breathtaking! It features a beautiful willow tree and a fountain in the middle of the pond – even without photo evidence, you can just imagine how stunning this backdrop is!

Thank you both for allowing me to capture your beautiful day. I wish you all the love and happiness in the world!

Lindsay & Cody - Listowel Wedding

This wedding has to be one of my absolute favourites!I’ve known Lindsay since high school and can confidently say she is one of the sweetest women I know. When she asked me to be her photographer I was over the moon! Then I met Cody and could not imagine two people more perfect for each other. They are such a wonderful couple and this day was full of so much love.

The day was perfect! It was almost 40 degrees but we had the perfect breeze and clear blue skies. The wedding itself took place in Listowel at their family friend’s farm - There is something so chic and romantic about a farm wedding! The décor was incredible. I love blush pinks and golds.. and of course, sparkles! This wedding was full of detail, I couldn’t stop taking pictures! We ended up getting a little lost during our photo session and stumbled upon the most picture perfect location. It was a beautiful long driveway lined with the most luscious green trees. It was just the rustic look we were going for, and simply stunning. Without exaggeration, this driveway looked as if it was straight out of a movie. To top off such a magical day, the food was catered by Lancaster Steak house and was drool worthy! Lindsay and Cody really outdid themselves.

Of course, when you have two people as great as Lindsay and Cody, you’d expect nothing less from their wedding party. It did not disappoint! Every person apart of this day was so welcoming and made it just that much better!

Thank you to Denise Belanger, who I like to call my very talented partner in crime; an amazing second shooter as usual- capturing this breath taking day with me!

A huge thank you to Cody and Lindsay for including us in this day. I wish you both a lifetime full of love and happiness!

Julie & Mike - Wilsonville Ranch Wedding

This wedding! I’m over the moon excited with how stunning these photos turned out and how overall perfect this entire day was! Julie and Mike’s wedding took place at the Wilsonville Horse Ranch and the only way to accurately describe the couple, the wedding and this day was… timeless! Just look at the details! The way they envisioned all their colours and accents, it tied so well together with the natural greens in the scenery and the rustic reception.

Julie is the biggest sweetheart and one of the kindest people I’ve ever met. As you can see in the photos, this woman is always smiling and laughing – her personality is infectious! Mike is hilarious and these two definitely compliment eachother so well. When these two had their first look at Clonmel Castle (near Port Dover) I had to take a split second to compose myself. Between the backdrop at the location and the two of them seeing eachother for the first time, I found myself getting completely wrapped up in their moments.

Their wedding party was incredible. Every person they included in their day was so welcoming and fun! There wasn’t a dull moment. From the moment I got there until the very end, everything seemed so effortless and the day went off without a hitch! The skies opened up for these two and it was a lovely day, from morning to night – which helped when we snuck Julie and Mike away for a quick session after dinner. We got such beautiful photos.

Thank you to my wonderful second shooter, Denise Belanger for once again being so incredible to work with and sharing the same vision I do.

Congrats Julie & Mike- I wish you all the love and happiness in the world!

Jennifer & Jamie - Cambridge Mill Wedding

Capturing all the beautiful moments of someone’s special day is of course the best thing about being a wedding photographer, but when you are privileged enough to photograph the wedding of someone you’ve grown up with, it takes on a whole new level of meaningful.

I’ve known Jamie since we were in high school and I was so excited when he had asked me to be a part of their big day. Once I met Jen, I knew instantly the two of them were a perfect match; she is such a sweetheart (with incredible taste!). Their wedding took place at the Cambridge Mill, which has gorgeous grounds to shoot on. From a beautiful staircase leading up to the front doors, to the stunning mill race park overlooking the river, everything was picture perfect. While the forecast called for rain all day we were fortunate enough to have clear skies, minus a light drizzle during the ceremony. A clear evening meant we got to sneak out for a quick shoot on the balcony at sunset – it’s so nice to have this extra time with the bride and groom.

The details of their wedding were stunning, I couldn’t look away. Personally, I’m a big fan of all things pink and sparkly and Jen has a vision like I do. You could imagine my excitement while photographing all this! Not only were the details perfection, but the bridal party was a dream to work with. Every single person was so kind and so fun. The ladies looked beautiful and the men looked quite dapper, if I do say so myself! This day, the venue, the décor and the people could not have been better!

Thank you to Denise Belanger for once again being such a wonderful second shooter and always sharing in my vision!

Congratulations Jen and Jamie, your wedding was spectacular and I’m so happy I could be apart of it.

Laura & Justin - Grand Sunset Princess Mexico

I met Laura and Justin back in the summer of 2015 while I was shooting another wedding. I could tell right away that they would be an amazing couple to work with, so when Laura asked if they could bring me to Mexico to shoot their wedding I was tempted to start packing my bags immediately. Then they told me that we would be staying at the Grand Sunset Princess in Riviera Mya and the day dreaming was kicked into high-gear.

The resort was stunning, which came as no surprise to the bride and groom because they had been there three times prior to this trip. We were so fortunate to have such amazing weather the whole week, even on our day off!

The entire day went so smoothly from start to finish. All of the details, the turquoise colour scheme, the ring bearer’s sign – it all came together perfectly! And the chemistry between Laura and Justin was the cherry on top. I can’t forget to mention the amazing reception on the beach – it was such a fun way to end the night.

A big thank you to the couple’s amazing friends and family who made us feel so welcomed. And of course, thank you to the newly weds for allowing me to capture these priceless moments!

Niomi & Nick - Puddicombe Newhamburg Wedding

I shot this wedding back in November, and I often still think back on how beautiful it really was. Not only the stunning decor, but the emotion that was so incredibly obvious and freely shared by everyone. I’ve known Niomi since I moved here from Vancouver, and her energy has always been so uplifting and positive - it’s no wonder that her entire wedding day had that vibe. I usually can hold it together during ceremonies, but this time I had to fight through tears in order to see through my lens!

Anyone who knows Nick and Niomi can attest to the amount of love they have for one another. I think the photos show you a glimpse of what this couple knows to be true, which is that nothing else made sense before they had each other.

The Puddicombe House was a wonderful venue, and all of the deep reds and neutral colours added such a classy and romantic element to the day. It turned out to be a bit rainy, but the bridal party showed everyone that it truly is mind over matter and we pulled everything off. Different aspects of the Puddicombe House, including the gorgeous bridal suite, made it easy for us to find alternative options for the photos.

I’m so happy to finally add this wedding to the blog. Thank you Pete Khamphila for second shooting this day with me. I hope you all enjoy the photos as much as I enjoyed taking them!
