Kristine + Jordan - Rockwood Guelph Engagement

Back in May, I met with this incredible couple for their engagement shoot at the beautiful Rockwood Campgrounds, just outside of Guelph. I love everything this park has to offer. From the crisp waterfall to the old ruins, the backdrops are jaw dropping. The gorgeous flowers blooming all around us just topped it off. With a park like this, of course it was full of people enjoying what we were! Although with these two, it was easy to get lost in the moments and felt as though no one else was there with us.

It was another day that the forecast was calling for rain, but the precipitation held off! The weather God’s knew to cooperate thankfully!

I loved Kristine’s dress and the way it flowed with her every pose. Her makeup that was done by one of my best friends and the amazing makeup artist – Justyn McCaskie suited her perfectly! Thank you both for such a fun evening, I can’t wait to photograph your wedding coming up this August!

Lindsay & Cody - Guelph Arboretum Engagement

I’m not sure whether it’s gold in the trees or maybe the couple wrapped up in a blanket, but there’s something about fall engagement shoots that radiate a warm feeling. When the colours and the light and the love all come together in the most perfect way, it’s hard not to be excited about what I was able to capture for the couple.

Of course it didn’t hurt that I shot with Lindsay and Cody on one of the best fall days in 2016 at The Guelph Arboretum. I’ve known Lindsay for almost a decade, and her kindness and sweet demeanour have never wavered. Maybe I’m biased because I’m a chihuahua-mom myself, but their little dog was the cutest and added SO much to the shoot. Having fur babies along for engagement sessions make things so much more personal, and take the emotion up a level or two.

I can’t wait to shoot their wedding this year! Here are some of my favourites from their October session.
