Amy-Lee & Jeff - Three Bridges St. Jacob Wedding

I've known both Amy and Jeff since highschool, when she had asked me to photograph her wedding I was so happy to share her special day through my lens!

Their wedding took place at Three Bridges in St. Jacobs on a beautiful sunny day at the end of September. It was hot and humid , which is unusual for the end of September, but everything ran smoothly and we all worked through the heat to get these photos!

Everyone in the wedding party was such a blast, and with a few familiar faces it made things that much more fun! Everyone looked amazing and complimented the day so well. The decor was beautiful, the Purples and pinks tied in beautifully with their pretty dresses and those dapper suits.

Thank you to my second shooter, also known as my work wife and partner in crime - Denise Belanger for capturing this beautiful day with me! It was hard to pick my favorites but here they are! Also, if you haven't already seen their wedding highlight film, take a look at the bottom of this page.

Congratulations again Amy & Jeff, thank you both for involving us in your important milestone! I wish you both lots of love and happiness for all the years to come!

Madeleine & Quintin - Kitchener Wedding

One thing I’ve learned about Madeleine since meeting her in the 7th grade, is that she spends most of her day laughing and her happiness is contagious. This is one of the things I love most about her, and although it seems impossible, Quintin brings this out in her even more so. On the day of their wedding, the two were glowing non-stop and could barely control their emotions throughout the ceremony - it was incredibly sweet.

On a somewhat deeper level, this wedding brought back so many feelings and memories because I grew up with so many of the guests. Getting to reflect on and remember our high school days made it even more amazing to be shooting Madeleine and Quintin’s wedding.

Everything was so elegant and the attention to detail was remarkable. But my favourite part of the entire day was watching the newlyweds share their first dance below a million stars that had been projected on the walls all around them. This feature offered by The Tannery was priceless.

Thank you to Madeleine and Quintin for allowing me to be a part of such a special day, and yet again thank you to Denise Belanger for being an awesome second shooter!

Charlene & Aaron - The Pines Cambridge Wedding

Charlene and Aaron exchanged their vows on a gorgeous day in October. Although Aaron and I were formerly co-workers for 3 years, it’s now impossible for me to think of him as anything less than family. Charlene has always complimented Aaron and brought out the best in him - she truly completes our circle. Needless to say, I could not have been happier when they asked me to photograph their big day.

Their wedding took place at the Pines in Cambridge. The surroundings were so vibrant and alive with Fall colours that it allowed the clean, crisp decor to really pop. From white bouquets to white bridesmaids dresses, everything was so timeless and elegant. And I can’t stress enough how perfectly stunning Charlene’s wedding dress was - I absolutely loved it!

I was lucky enough to spend time with a bridal party that was as much fun as this one was. And getting to watch the day unfold through the lens of my camera reminds me that I am doing exactly what I was meant to do. I can’t thank Aaron and Charlene enough for allowing me to be a part of such an amazing day.

Meagan & Colton - Whistle Bear Wedding

On October 10th I had the pleasure of shooting Meagan and Colton’s wedding at Whistle Bear Golf Club. Perfect weather, no battling with insects, and jaw dropping colours - all of the reasons why I love fall weddings!

The immense amount of dedication and hard work was evident in the DIY decor. Not a single detail was missed or out of place. What stood out to me throughout the day was the impact that the colours had in every aspect of the wedding. The way that the wine coloured bridesmaids dresses were carried through to their bouquets. How the cupcakes and centrepieces were representative of a truly Canadian fall. And, possibly the most memorable for me, how Meagan and her daughter Scarlett shared the same breathtaking blue eyes.

With such a beautiful couple, my job as a photographer was made a little easier. And the love that Meagan and Colton displayed every time they looked at one another was almost tangible. Being able to feel the happiness a couple shares just by looking at their photo is priceless, and these two accomplished that effortlessly.

Visually, it’s obvious why Whistle Bear is such a desirable wedding venue, but working with such an outstanding wedding party made it even better than I had anticipated. They were a blast and it was obvious why each one of them had been chosen to stand next to the bride and groom on this special day.

A big thank you to the newly weds for allowing me to photograph these important moments for them. Here are some of my favourites I wanted to share with you!

Natalie & Wesley - Kitchener Waterloo Wedding

Back on September 27th, I had the privilege to second shoot for an amazing photographer, Devon Crowell of DCphotography. I started my day with the Groom and his groomsmen – Wesley, his friends and family made me feel so welcome to be part of their day. This group was such a blast to photograph, there was definitely a lot of goofing around caught on camera for them! The ceremony took place at the New Apostolic Church in Kitchener, I must say that this is probably one of the most beautiful churches that you can find in the KW region, the architecture and beautiful stained glass was definitely a treat to my eyes, absolutely stunning! After the ceremony we headed to Victoria Park in Kitchener to photograph the bridal party, we caught such beautiful weather and even better.. gorgeous lighting was on our side this day. Thank you Devon for bringing me to second shoot for you at this wedding and a big thank you to the entire bridal party for being such a humorous, fun and easy-going group of people! Here are my favorite shots from this beautiful day.
